The “Roadies & Rescues” program is operated by Second Chance Pet Rescue and Adoption, an IRS recognized 501c3 nonprofit.
The “Roadies & Rescues” program provides transportation for animals at risk of euthanasia in overcrowded shelters. By partnering with an extensive network of rescue organizations and animal sanctuaries, we are able to relocate hundreds of animals each year to safety in counties or states without the overpopulation problems that California is currently facing.
SCPRA and the Roadies and Rescues program are entirely volunteer run (no paid staff positions) and we rely entirely on donations from individuals and grants through philanthropic endowments. If you would like to help us save animals from needlessly dying, you can donate through PayPal, Venmo, our GoFundMe campaign, or by sending a check or money order through the mail.
